Tribeca: 1960's Barclay and Washington Streets

When the fruit and produce wholesalers moved to the Hunts PointTerminal Market in the Bronx., the area that they had occupied in Manhattan (Washington Market) became Tribeca. This photo was taken at the intersection of Washington and Barclay Streets. This intersection is where the Verizon bulding now stands. When the photo was taken it was the home of Diamond Wise Meats.
